Janis L. Rosenthal, Esq.
Originally from the Main Line in Philadelphia, Ms. Rosenthal earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University with a B.A. in Political Science, graduating in 1988. Attending law school in South Florida, she earned her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2001. Ms. Rosenthal is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, and is also admitted to the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Having regulatory, corporate and litigation experience, Ms. Rosenthal spent three years as a federal litigator, representing trademark, copyright and patent clients in federal court. She was then appointed General Counsel for an international medical device manufacturer, VitalCare Group, handling its litigation, regulatory and corporate issues. Following her tenure at VitalCare Group, she worked as an assistant general counsel for the State of Florida, Agency for Health Care Administration. Finally, Ms. Rosenthal acted as General Counsel for Oxonia Insurance Group before leaving to pursue opportunities in private practice.
Ms. Janis Rosenthal has over fifteen years healthcare experience prior to becoming an attorney. Now in private practice, Ms. Rosenthal litigates in both state and federal court for a variety of actions, including healthcare litigation, state regulatory agency defense and litigation, business practices litigation and corporate litigation.
